The latest edition of Shonen Jump teases that Naruto Storm 4 will recreate a major battle in the Naruto storyline: Team 7 versus Ten-Tails.
Team 7, also known as Team Kakashi, is the classic team of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, under the mentorship of Kakashi. This was the teamup fans grew up with, and saw bitterly dissolve when Sasuke turned on Konoha, only to be joined again in the last chapter of the manga series.

In the last parts of the manga, Sasuke decides to reunite with his old friends and teammates to take on Kaguya Otsutsuki, the onetime progenitor of the chakra, and also a part of the beast known as Ten-Tails. In Team 7’s final battle, Kaguya incarnates an imperfect form of Ten-Tails when Naruto attacks her. Later on, Sasuke and Naruto team up to trap Kaguya using the Six Paths Chibaku Tensei technique. This was the same technique Hagoromo and Hamura Otsutsuki, Kaguya’s own sons, used to seal her, as Ten-Tails, hundreds of years before.
This part of the lore is apparently not completely canon, but it is the one Masashi Kishimoto chose to end with, so it’s certainly a huge part of the series, and an epic battle. How Cyberconnect2 plans to recreate this move in a way that will somehow balance itself out with the rest of the game remains to be seen, but wouldn’t it be fun to see?
