One new game that has piqued our interest comes in the form of Savage Lands, developed by Signal Studios and DigitalDNA Games. The game is an open-world survival title and players must contend with both dwindling resources and nightmarish creatures.
Here's one of them:
Savage Lands is available on Steam Early Access right now, sporting these features:
- Huge Open World: Fight for survival across an immense, realistic open world that contains changing time of day, evolving weather conditions, diverse creatures and other surprises scattered around.
- Build Your World: Erect shelters for you and your allies to escape hostile creatures and players that roam the island.
- Robust Item Crafting: Craft over 50+ unique recipes for armor, weapons, tools and more from the materials scavenged from the land.
- Multiplayer: Fight alone or team up with other players co-cooperatively to gain resources; open your world to the public or host password protected private games with your friends.
If you're sold already, then you're in luck. For one week only, Savage Lands is forty percent off. At the moment, you can get the game for $14.99, down from its normal price of $24.99.
