Those zany kids at Paradox Interactive have announced today the release date for Magicka 2, which comes out just a day before my birthday on May 26, 2015.
The publisher released a fair-use trailer for Magicka 2 containing all new gameplay and new features to celebrate the upcoming launch of the game. With its release date announcement and trailer release, the publisher has also announced that the game can now be pre-ordered on the PC beginning today, with pre-orders on the PlayStation 4 soon to follow.
The game will be available for $14.99 on both platforms.
Interestingly enough, anyone who pre-orders the game now can get an exclusive hands-on sneak peek of the game, with additional access for up to three friends, on both the PC and PS4 on May 5, 2015.
All pre-orders will also allow players to sample the Game of Robes by gifting them a unique in-game robe, available in both Magicka 2 and Magicka: Wizard Wars.
The trailer uses the theme song from Game of Thrones in the most hilarious fashion.
