Watch Dogs and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare were the two biggest games in Australia in 2014.
Data obtained by the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association from the NPD Group Australia reveals that last year's retail sales in Australia were topped by the titles mentioned above on all platforms, including PC.
The top selling title was Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, followed closely in second place by Watch Dogs, and FIFA 15.
Software sales overall totaled $614.5 million in 2014, a decline of 5.3% from the previous year. However, sales for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Wii U & 3DS experienced growth. This simply explains that the last generation of console title sales are on the decline, and the present gen is expected to pick up in the coming year.
