HBO GO App Now Available for PS4

March 4, 2015 by Stephen Daly

You’ll need your cable credentials to log-in.

HBO Go has arrived on PlayStation 4, four months after the app became available for Xbox One.

Sony acknowledged the delay in an update on the PlayStation Blog, with Sony Computer Entertainment of America executive Phil Rosenberg commented, "We know you've been looking forward to this day. We are excited to announce that the HBO GO app for PS4 will be ready to download later today."

The app will work on PS4 in much the same way it did on PS3, with users able to watch their favourite classic shows and new ones in-between games and on-the-fly. You'll need to log-in with your cable credentials from the likes of Dish, Verizon, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable.

Game of Thrones Series 5 is a month away, so this is a pretty good time to catch up.
