Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD has received a release date for the PlayStation 4.
The game will be arriving on May 12 in North America, and May 14 in Japan. You can preorder a special bundle that will come with an exclusive calendar with artwork by Yoshitaka Amano, in the Square Enix Online Store and some other retailers.
Of course, Square Enix is catering this game to hardcore fans. So, if you already own the game on PlayStation 3 and/or Vita, you will be able to transfer your saves between any three of them. For those who can use it, you will also get to choose Remote Play from PlayStation 4 to Vita.
You can also switch between the original and remastered soundtrack, although Square doesn’t confirm if this soundtrack was rerecorded to make use of the PlayStation 4’s capabilities again, or if it’s the same remastered soundtrack on PlayStation 3 and Vita.
