Destiny’s Mobile App Now Lets You Manage Your Vault

February 27, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The mobile app for Destiny now lets players manage their vault outside the game.

Gamers who play Destiny spend much of their time out in the game's missions, to which they receive rewards for partaking in–usually in the form of weapons and equipment you'll never be able to use for your own character, thanks to the game's RNG system.

Inventory management between two or more characters can be a complete pain in the ass to navigate, no thanks to the game's simplistic user interface that required players take a trip to the Tower to access the Vaults. This is no longer an issue thanks to a newly released mobile app by Bungie for the game, which serves as a very useful companion to the game.

An update for the game's companion app has added the ability to remotely transfer items to and from your game's vault.

Thanks to this application, you'll be able to apply mission items to your characters from within the app without pulling your entire fireteam to the Tower to do so.

If you don't have a smartphone to use the app with, you can always do so through the web browser on Bungie's website.

UI changes aren't the only things Bungie's working on. Details about the studio's latest upcoming DLC, House of Wolves, got leaked yesterday.
