Blizzard has new content in store for players of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, adding them to the game's existing Adventure Mode, which sees players taking on bounties and venturing through rifts for experience points and legendary gear.
To be added into the game are a total of three new six-piece legendary gear sets, which include Unhallowed Essence, Wrath of the Wastes, and Delsere’s Magnum Opus. You'll be able to check out these new items on the PTR if you're keen on trying them out now.
Also, existing sets like Zunimassa's Haunt, Raiment of a Thousand Storms, Roland's Legacy, Tal Rasha's Elements, Inna's Mantra, Natalya's Vengeance, and Immortal King's Call will be getting buffed and redesigned. This means a grand total of ten new or revamped play styles to try out.
Sets aren't the only items getting improved. Legendary items will be getting 15 new powers in the form of new items, and updated old ones.
There will also be new Rift layouts for players to explore, so they won't have to deal with the same old maps after countless runs through them.
Blizzard is also adding 20 new bounties to discover in Acts II, IV, and V, and a new bounty type called Exploration which involves exploring an area and finding NPCs that need to be rescued (or killed, if they're evil). 14 bounties of this new type are being added across the game.
Beyond new items and quests, players will be able to access their vanity items such as wings and pets through a new cosmetics user interface (pictured above).
Finally, there will be new goblins for players to chase and kill for loot.
