Hajime Tabata hosted a new livestream for Final Fantasy 15 Demo Episode Duscae.
Among other things, Tabata revealed that Square Enix was safely 60 % done with the game. In fact, they’re so farther along that they can hit the 80 % spot at any time. While the studio still won’t share more concrete release dates, work on the game continues rapidly.
As Tabata demonstrated the game running on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, he revealed that the demo would take about three hours to complete.
Tabata took the time to explain the game controls for both consoles, before focusing on the PlayStation 4 stream. On this stream, he explained the battle systems, menus, weapon abilities, camping, and questing, all while showing it off on the PS4 in real time.
Tabata also admitted that they did not reach 1080p, 60 FPS for Episode Duscae. It’s not even a consistent 30 FPS. Still, Episode Duscae looks great, and of course, they are targeting these goals in the final release.
You can, of course, watch the livestream above, courtesy Square Enix’s official YouTube channel.
TheFinal Fantasy 15 demo will be available as part of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be available on March 17 in the US and March 20 in Europe.
