Christine Love has shared a new (NSFW, age-gated) trailer for Ladykiller in a Bind, which will be releasing for PC in late 2015.
The game’s actual full name is and remains My Twin Brother Made Me Crossdress As Him And Now I Have To Deal With A Geeky Stalker And A Domme Beauty Who Want Me In A Bind!!
Love originally talked to us about the game in our huge GameRanx Asks interview with her last year. Back then, we already knew that the game would have erotic themes. Love described it as a systems-oriented game, with an emphasis on person to person social interactions, particularly, social manipulation. She also stated that the game will be her last visual novel.
Today, we know a little more about the game’s premise. In fact, your character, the twin sister, is trapped in a cruise ship. You play a game of social manipulation with your brother’s classmates and enemies, for high stakes.
Love also shared more details in the past few months. While there are two love interests with full routes (presumably the Beauty and the Stalker), you can kiss six people. Of course, you have to deal with pretending to be your brother, and that everyone in the cruise hates your brother’s guts. The game has also been in development since 2012, close to the release of Hate Plus.
In another interview with FPS, Love talked more about the love/relationship/sex aspects of the game. One of her goals with Ladykiller is moving beyond this limited POV of love/sex as a reward mechanic. Instead, you will have the opportunity for six nights of sex in a span of seven days in the ship. You can spend this time with person you want to be with and take it from there. There was also going to be a social network system, similar to Don’t Take It Personally. This was shelved since it later seemed unnecessary.
You can read more details, including production art, from the official site.
