Civilization 5 fans have created a vast real-world map that's large enough for an impressive 42 civilizations to duke it out for world domination.
The players over at /r/Civ have set the game up so it's all going to be AI-controlled and can only be won through a Domination victory, meaning everyone's going to have to go to war.
A number of unofficial Civs such as Australia will be joining the game, along with well established ones like Rome. Others have been tweaked, with Germany becoming Nazi Germany and Russia being labelled as the USSR.
There will also be no city states and the game will use deity difficulty while running on epic speed. Daily reports and timelapses will be posted on Reddit.
