Watch Homeworld: Remastered at 4K Resolution

February 13, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Homeworld looks great at beyond HD resolutions.

You’ll be able to play Homeworld Remastered Collection at a resolution beyond 4K. A newly released video by RPS shows just how the game looks at the tremendously high resolution, which is available to anyone running a modern graphics card thanks to downsampling options from both Nvidia and AMD.

A video posted shows the upcoming Homeworld remake at 5120×2880, but downscaled to 2560×1440 so it would record better.

Unfortunately, RPS didn’t have a rig beefy enough to run the game at the resolution, and thus the framerate is low as a result. However, the game looks fine as hell.

Homeworld Remastered Collection releases on February 25th for $34.99 on Steam, with a 15% discount when you pre-order.
