There are a few big titles still slated to come out this year before the 2021 wraps. One of those that had been on quite a few wish lists out there is Back 4 Blood. The development team responsible for bringing out Left 4 Dead will soon deliver a spiritual successor. This is huge for the Left 4 Dead community as we’ve been stuck with just the first two installments. Rather than providing the third installment, Valve has left this IP mainly dormant.
Support has been coming through fans delivering modded content into Left 4 Dead 2. Now this spiritual successor is gearing for a release this coming month. Fans were able to dive into this game already through a beta. It allowed some players a chance to check the game out to see if it was worth the pick-up at launch. While the beta seemed to have some mixed reception with fans, we’re going to get a chance to thoroughly check out the world Turtle Rock Studios put into Back 4 Blood on October 12, 2021.
For some fans, the game also means a new series of challenges to gather achievements or trophies. While the game is not available yet, the list of trophies for Back 4 Blood has surfaced online. It provides the trophy name, the trophy description, and the trophy type associated with the challenge. There’s not much here in terms of spoiling any narrative within the game.
Instead, as you can likely expect, there is plenty of trophies based around the killing of a specified amount of Ridden in different ways. This could mean the total amount of kills in general, melee kills or taking down a specific enemy. Then some trophies are based on completing acts of the narrative, healing teammates, playing cards, and other notable tasks centered around a level. The entire list of trophies can be found at True Trophies. Meanwhile, players can expect Back 4 Blood on October 12, 2021, for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
