Mortal Kombat 10 Next-Generation Technology Trailer

February 6, 2015 by Jacob Saylor

New technology has opened doors for NetherRealm studios

Mortal Kombat is one of the longest-running game series of all-time. Even with the newer entries, there's a certain nostalgia that gamers feel when playing as classics like Scorpion or others. The franchise will be seeing its tenth entry in April, and gamers around the globe are readying themselves for hours of fighting game fun.

One of the greatest parts about Mortal Kombat 10 is that it will be the first game of the franchise to feature on next-generation consoles. This means that we'll get to experience the game with better graphics and more nuances than previous entries to the series.

NetherRealm Studios, aptly named developers of the title, have recently published a 'Next-Gen Tech Trailer' that shows what this new leap in technology has brought to the game. In the video, you'll hear from multiple developers, some twenty year veterans of the industry. These developers claim that the title will boast a "much more impressive and elaborate online experience."
