A fan has shared the poster with a picture of the protagonist in a seeming collage. The boy is dressed in a leather jacket, undershirt, and plaid pants, and seems to be posing for a police line. He is holding a sign with the words ‘Love us score the game’ where his name would be, and his Persona looms in the background.
More impressive, of course, is the opening trailer below, sharing a small peek at the UI and gameplay, but mostly showing off the game’s stylishness. If Atlus’ earlier statements implied a prison drama of sorts, this trailer reveals anything but. The protagonist and his friends seem to be playing at being a band of masked thieves. It’s possible that the masks are part of a gameplay mechanic, possibly even used to summon the Persona themselves.
If you were looking for a familiar face in this trailer, you have it. Igor, the Proprietor of the Velvet Room, makes a return, with his characteristic smirk.
As of this writing, there is a livestream with information on the game that has yet to be revealed. For now, you can enjoy these screenshots/ gifs courtesy of @Nibellion.
