IGN has shared some exclusive concept art forStar Wars Battlefront.
Set in Endor, the scene is deep in the lush forest, with a pair of Rebels taking cover under the trees in the foreground, as they stare into the Stormtroopers apparently looking for them in the background.
Deeper in, you can see another pair, this time of the AT-STs, popularly referred to as chicken walkers. One unit lays on the ground, while another is shooting at an unknown target. If you look real deep, you can also see an Ewok village atop one of the giant trees.
DICE still won’t share specific details, but what we know is that there will be a huge variety in the maps and game modes. Specific maps cater to specific modes, similar to what we have seen in DICE’s Battlefield series. We only know about the snowy plains of Jhunia and the woodlands of Endor, both of which appeared in the first trilogy of movies. It remains to be seen if the rest of the films will also be set close to the source, or if DICE will expand beyond these classic settings, for example, going into not-as-popular, Naboo.
Star Wars Battlefront will be releasing Holiday 2015 to Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
