Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Delayed on PC but Not Consoles

January 27, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Online play won’t be available at launch, however.

Koei Tecmo has delayed the PC version of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round until March 30th. The game was previously set to release on February 17th.

The PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One version of the game have not been affected by the delay, and will still be available in mid-February.

To make up for the PC delay, 28 costums from the Halloween 2013 outfits set will be available free to those who purchase the game through Steam. Despite the delay, online play will not be available at launch, but will be patched in during the first three months.

"In order to provide you with the best experience possible, the expected release date for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Steam has been changed from Feb. 17 to March 30," Koei Tecmo commented on Steam. "In appreciation for your patience, we'll be offering the Halloween 2013 Set (28 costumes) free of charge to all users who purchase Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Steam. Thank you for your understanding!"
