Fallout 4: Fan Offers Theory That It Will Be Announced In 2015

January 17, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

We have a YouTuber who believes Bethesda won’t be able to run around this any longer.

It seems that YouTuber Matty Schroeder, AKA MrMattyPlays, has proof that Fallout 4 will be announced in 2015. You can subscribe to his channel here.

His proof is a Bethesda interview, where production director Ashley Cheng stated that they usually make games in a three to four year cycle. Our source then brings up this list of games and production years:

The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind: 1998 – 2002

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion: 2002 – 2006

Fallout 3: 2006 – 2008

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim: 2008 – 2011

Fallout 3 is seemingly the odd man out in this list, but our source explains that this game ended up being the exception because Bethesda was already used to the game engine.

If we take this observation into account, assuming that Fallout 4 began production in 2011, then it would mean that it would just be about time for Bethesda to announce the game.

What do you think about this theory? Do you think it will finally be time to return to the world of Fallout? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
