Nintendo has announced the release date and a free demo for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on 3DS. The game is releasing alongside the New Nintendo 3DS XL on February 13th while European players are being invited to join the demo today.
There will be a demo in North America, but Nintendo has not said when this will start. Emails being sent from Nintendo to those selected to take part will include four codes, one for you and three for your friends.
Single, local, and online multiplayer modes are all included in the demo and Capcom has placed a great deal of focus on multiplayer for the game so it's not too surprising that these modes are included.
All of the weapon types found in the full release are also featured in the demo, allowing you to find the one that works best for you. Three monsters also feature, the Gore Magala, the Tetsucabra, and the Great Jaggi. The Circle Pad Pro is fully supported by the demo.
Finally, Nintendo also announced a Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate New 3DS XL bundle which will be released on February 13th. You can watch the comments on Monster Hunter and the bundle from 42:45 in the video below.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is set for release on February 13th in both Europe and North America and we'll let you know when we have news of the North America demo start date.
