PDP Has a Custom Controller for Mortal Kombat X

January 9, 2015 by Tony Ponce

Two versions: one for PS4 and PS3, the other for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Performance Designed Products, the accessory maker responsible for the recent round of Nintendo-themed Classic Controllers, is set to release a custom fight pad for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X. CNET writer Brian Tong is attending the Consumer Electronics Show this year and was able to check the controller out for himself.

In addition to having a six-button layout, you'll notice that the grip on the left is a bit longer than the grip on the right. Also, there's a switch at the bottom that will allow you to use the pad on either Xbox One or Xbox 360. PDP will also release a second version of the controller that operates with PS4 and PS3.

No price or release date has been announced, but I wouldn't be shocked if it arrives on April 14 alongside Mortal Kombat X.
