PlayStation Vue, Sony's TV streaming service for PS3 and PS4, will be made available during the first quarter of 2015, IGN reports.
Sony President and CEO Kaz Hirai revealed the news during Sony's CES conference earlier today. PlayStation Vue is currently only available to those who have been selected for a closed beta.
The cloud based TV service will make its debut on PS4 and PS3 before it arrives on iPad and other non-Sony devices. CBS, Fox, NBCUniversal, and Viacom are among the networks surrporting the Vue.
PlayStation Vue will be available as a monthly subscription, but Sony has yet to reveal how much this will cost. Yesterday, the company announced PlayStation Now, its game rental streaming service, will offer a $19.99 monthly subscription, while users also have the option of paying $44.99 for three months.
Sony has to reveal if PlayStation Vue will be made available outside of the US.
