The Steam listing of GTA 5 has now dropped its January 27 release date, in lieu of Early 2015.
The change has been made so surreptitiously you could have missed it if you blinked. However, if you look at the right side of the page, you will see that it now says Early 2015 under release date.
Just last September, Rockstar had assured fans that the PC port of the game was very well still on track. Of course ,the game already released on November 18 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the improvements and additions expected to be seen on the PC version.
Neither Rockstar nor Valve have come out with a press release or explanation for the change. However, it is entirely possible that this was not an issue with programming the port, but out of something with Valve.
This also follows a very recent and highly publicized controversy, when the game was pulled from the shelves of Target Australia. Given the lack of a statement, it is not entirely out of the question that
