Halo fans have kept busy since Halo 5: Guardians beta launched yesterday. This early on, 343 Industries have responded to some feedback from fans, as GameStop is set to launch another event.
First off, Halo 5: Guardians studio head Josh Holmes responded to a fan stating that the game still had flinch. In fact, they really did remove flinch, but some reaction animations make it seem like flinch is still present. Josh promises that they will be removed after beta.
@mazimasetti We’re aware of a couple of reaction anims that are causing a slight flinch-like effect. It will be fixed post-beta.

Also responding to feedback, community manager Andy Dudynsky reassured another fan that the launch of the Halo 5: Guardians did not mean that 343 Industries has already abandoned Halo: The Master Chief Collection. In fact, they have two separate teams working on both games within 343 Industries.
@sonicpoop hey sten, team continues to work through the holidays on MCC CUs. Totally separate teams working on the two projects.

Finally, Gamestop has revealed that on January 3, 2015, they will be having a Halo Day. They will be offering preorders for Halo 5: Guardians, including the Limited Edition and Limited Collector's Edition, which come with a special Halo 5: Guardians poster, and if you show up early, you can get specially themed Halo 5 skins or analog stick covers for your Xbox One controller.
