In an update on the Rockstar Wire, the developer has detailed what awaits fans in Grand Theft Auto 5 during the festive period.
Among the new content are "Explosive stocking stuffers" which allow players to "Heat up your season’s greetings with brand new items stocked at Ammu-Nation: a new Homing Missile Launcher and Proximity Mines are here just in time to make spirits bright." These weapons will be available even after the holiday season to buy and keep.
Despite Los Santos's location, the forecast is for a white Christmas and you and your crew can look forward to friendly snowball fights, Rockstar does however warn that "those icy little suckers can pack a wallop."
You can also dress the part, with a range of holiday pajamas, ‘ugly’ Christmas sweaters, new scarves, hats, masks, and more available for free until Monday, January 5th.
Rockstar is also marking New Year's with the Firework Launcher and Firework rocket ammo, which will be available from Christmas Eve until January 5th. You can grab one for free Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day.
