Evolve is shaping up to be one of 2015's biggest games. Turtle Rock Studios, who develops the title, has made claims that there's nothing like it in the compendium of gaming history. While it reminds us of Left 4 Dead in some ways, nobody will be able to say for sure how innovative Evolve is until we get a bit closer to the game's release. Considering the game comes out in February, we don't have too long a wait ahead of us.
For those of you who don't know yet, Evolve is a multiplayer experience. One person takes on the role of a creature who is hellbent on destroying your crew. The players in the crew must successfully kill or defend themselves against the monsters of Evolve. This should create some cool, new dynamics for first-person shooters.
One of the main draws Turtle Rock Studios says Evolve will have are its exceedingly interesting enemy types. One of these enemies, the 'Wraith,' has been shown in a brand new trailer published by the Xbox Youtube channel. The Wraith appears to be a creature that can phase out of the living world at will; either that, or the beast has some pretty amazing cloaking abilities. The Wraith is also very agile, which should make its stealthy powers even more devastating. While many of the creatures we have seen from Evolve are frightening simply due to their brute strength, we'd hate to be stalked by this thing.
