Persona Q: Unboxing of the Wild Cards Special Edition

December 8, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Persona fan Bubu-Chan shares pics of her acquisition on her website.

Almost two weeks ago, the Persona series made its Nintendo debut with the release of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for 3DS, and according to consensus, the game is pretty darn good. Of course, a true Persona superfan would have sprung for the "Wild Cards" special edition box set, which contains extra goodies like tarot cards, a soundtrack sampler, and more.

Persona fan Bubu-Chan scored one of the limited sets for herself and took some very tasteful pictures for her blog — I've reposted some of the pictures above for your enjoyment. Aside from the miniature figurines posing alongside the set, which are from Bubu-chan's personal collection and aren't included in the box, the contents are pretty high-quality. The art book is especially nice, considering how rare it is to get a printed anything in physical game boxes these days. It is a shame that the CD only contains four tracks, however.

If you want the "Wild Cards" set, better act fast before they all disappear. This isn't like a Halo or Call of Duty special edition that will sit around in storage forever.
