Among the many delightful reveals of the PlayStation Experience event today was the upcoming release of Bastion on PlayStation 4 and Vita. With its bright but moody art style, isometric level design, and high replayability factor (not to mention a narrator with the impeccable cool of a grizzled cowboy), Bastion was arguably an indie darling upon its original 2011 debut, creating legions of enthusiastic fans across the Xbox Live and Steam universe and selling over 3 million copies. PlayStation folks are in for a treat when it comes to PS4 and Vita, and will be pleased to know it will feature Cross Buy. The developers are also "looking into" Cross Save.
To PC players this move may seem a little "old hat" but Bastion was well-received game and Sony is creating a diverse and robust indie line-up with the inclusion of Supergiant Games. Transistor, their second game, debuted in May 2014 on both PC and PlayStation 4.
