Capcom has revealed the release dates and features for Resident Evil Revelations 2.
There will be four episodic digital releases preceding a full retail release. Each release will essentially happen week after week.
Episode 1
February 17 for PS3 & PS4 North America
February 18 for PS3 & PS4 Europe, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows
Episode 2
February 24 for PS3 & PS4 North America
February 25 for PS3 & PS4 Europe, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows
Episode 3
March 3 for PS3 & PS4 North America
March 4 for PS3 & PS4 Europe, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows
Episode 4
March 10 for PS3 & PS4 North America
March 11 for PS3 & PS4 Europe, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows
Full Retail Box
March 10 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows North America
March 13 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows Europe
Each Episode will be $ 5.99, while the retail release will sell for $ 39.99 and include the following:
· All four episodes
· Alternative costumes for Claire Redfield, Moira Burton, Barry Burton, and Natalia Korda
· Two spinoff episodes focusing on side stories for Moira Burton and Natalia Korda
· RAID mode characters Hunk and Albert Wesker
· RAID mode Throwback Stage Pack, with four stages from other Resident Evil games
Given these are all digital content, it is entirely possible Capcom will resell the extra retail content for digital gamers as well.
