Dragon Age Inquisition Player Beats Game Solo on Nightmare Mode

December 2, 2014 by Stephen Daly

The Herald of Andraste doesn’t need help.

Dragon Age Inquisition is designed for a four member team, made up of mages, warriors, and rogues but as YouTuber BOYvsVIDEOGAME shows, it's actually possible for the Inquisitor to finish the game along, even on Nightmare difficulty, the hardest setting.

The player used a rogue archer, and while he needs to stand back the beginning a low, he eventually ends up dealing shots which cause a staggering 2,500 damage.

As the rogue can fade into shadows and enemies have no other rivals to fights, there are clear moments when the AI doesn't know what to do. This makes sense, as the game wasn't intended to be played this way and the vast majority of players will set out with a full team, if only to hear the often witty dialogue between them.

Below you can see the player take on Corypheus, the game's final boss. You can watch the entire playthrough here, and see him take on the game's dragon solo here.
