Epic has released the first alpha invites for Fortnite, the studio's co-op tower defence game. If you've signed up at Fortnite.com, you should have an email from the developer, just be sure to check your spam filters if it doesn't show up in your inbox.
The alpha runs from today and will end on December 19th, which should give you plenty of time to test out the game's features. Those with an invite are able to invite up to two friends to give it a go, meaning even those without signing up you can still give it a go if you know someone who's in the alpha.
"During this phase of the Alpha, Epic is testing to verify at a larger scale that the basic systems in the game function properly, from sign-ups and patching, to gameplay. Epic is devoted to taking its time and working with players to make Fortnite a great experience" the studio said in a press release.
At the moment, those being invited to join are being randomly selected, but Epic says more emails will go out later this week.
