In Evolve, Goliath Monsters Have had ‘Half the Planet for Breakfast’

December 2, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Guess that means you’re lunch.

A new video has been released for Turtle Rock's shooter Evolve, which shows a team of 12 hunters brought together to fight monsters on a once lucrative colony world.

We're told the monsters have "eaten half the planet for breakfast" and are over two storeys tall. No pressure. Of course, players in Evolve have the option of playing as the hunters or the monster, which grows increasinly powerful as the game progresses. That being said, these are 'Goliath' monsters which are tougher than the usual lot and thus, require more hunters to take down.

Evolve is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in February, and anyone who pre-orders the game will get the first monster DLC pack for free.

You can check out the trailer below, and our preview of Evolve from earlier this year through this link.
