Money comes in very handy in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Unfortunately, it’s not very easy to come by. You can play the game for 70+ hours and still have less than 20,000 gold. Coupled with the fact that a lot of unique weapons and armor in the game cost more than 5,000 gold—with some of the best items costing upwards of 10,000 gold—gold is a valuable resource indeed.
There are a few ways of getting gold in the game, but most of them are too slow to be considered viable. Even exploiting your PS4/Xbox One/PC’s system clock to re-do the gold acquisition mission again and again can take too long to be worthwhile.
To that end, there’s a fast gold farming method that doesn’t require you to exploit the game.
Here’s what you do:
1. Unlock Emprise du Lion
2. Head to the location North West of Sahrnia Camp (between where two rifts are) and locate the snoufleurs — up to 6 of them will spawn in the area.
3. Kill them and loot them for their skin. Each snoufleur will drop between 2 to 10 skins that you can sell for 16 gold each. Snoufleurs don’t have many hitpoints and they can’t run fast—so you shouldn’t have trouble killing them all.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
Keep in mind that snoufleurs also have the chance to drop the Fade-Touched Snoufleur Skin, which heals 1% of your maximum health on hit.
Using this method, you can accumulate upwards of 20,000 gold per hour and you won’t even have to cheat to do it.
