EA's Origin Store launched its Black Friday sale earlier yesterday, and with that, they gain a one day head start on Steam's upcoming Autumn Sale, predicted to begin tomorrow based on several sources.
Of all the deals available, whats most surprising is Titanfall for only FIVE DOLLARS. When EA launched their sale yesterday, Titanfall was listed at $15 but just about 30 minutes ago as of writing the game updated to $5 in North America.
Over 200 titles from EA's catalog are on sale, including many games from other publishers such as Ubisoft's Assassins' Creed series. There are even a few Steam games in the mix as well. The sale runs until Monday, December 1st just before midnight, and most of the major discounts are only available in North America, particular in the US.
Top deals include recent releases such as FIFA 15 and The Sims 4 for 33% off at $39.99. The classic (older) titles are up to 75% off.
Some top picks from the sale according to the listing here:
- Battlefield 4 for $34.99
- SimCity Complete Edition for $19.99
- The Secret World for $7.49
- Bulletstorm for $4.99
- Spore for $4.99
- Mirror's Edge for $4.99
- Mass Effect for $3.74
We're not sure if Titanfall receives the same expiration date as the overall Origin Black Friday sale, which ends at December 1st, 11:59pm Pacific. In either case, this is a nice move from Origin to get a little bit attention away from the upcoming Steam sale.
