Far Cry 4 Has a Second Secret Ending

November 25, 2014 by Stephen Daly

And it doesn’t look like anyone’s found it yet.

Far Cry 4 features a "super secret" alternative ending, which can be triggered late in the game according to creative director Alex Hutchinson on Twitter.

This means there are now two known alternative endings for the game, the first of which occurs if players wait for antagonist Pagan Min to return as he asks during the game's prologue. Hutchinson says the second alternative ending takes place near the end of the game and requires players to make "a snap decision and creates a whole new mini-location…"

Hutchinson also teased several "mini moments" which can be triggered mid-way through the game, but cautioned that these are "'dead end' branches basically."

"You can do it and the result is unique, but it doesn't affect the end," he wrote. "We did it for fun, and to squeeze more possible player expressions out of the missions."

Far Cry 4 is available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One now.
