343 Industries has announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will have a new content patch today, wihich aims to fix the title's significant matchmaking problems, as well as issues relating to gameplay, user interface, and game-specific bugs.
The biggest fix is aimed at solving the Collection's long matchmaking times and the low rate of matchmaking success. 343 comments that after the patch "you'll see better, more frequent and more informative status updates throughout the matchmaking flow — so 'Players Found' for example will be displayed to let players know where they are in the matchmaking process instead of simply wondering if it's going to connect."
You can find full patch notes on the official Halo Waypoint website.
The Master Chief Collection has struggled with matchmaking since launch, despite the massive 15GB day one patch.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is out now for Xbox One, and includes Halo 1-4, as well as access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta which kicks off on December 27th.
