Nintendo Partnering with Loot Crate to Deliver amiibo

November 10, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Sign up for a special amiibo subscription to receive 10 figures this holiday.

Never heard of Loot Crate? It's a subscription service that sends you a box of assorted nerdy goodies once a month. Inside, you'll find items like stickers, clothing, Redbox coupons, minuature figurines, and more. Now Nintendo has decided to partner with Loot Crate for a special program separate from the main service in order to deliver amiibo right to your door.

Loot Crate will send out 10 pre-selected figures across three shipments over the holidays. Five of them will be Mario, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Fox, and Yoshi, with the others yet to be revealed. The ordering page hasn't opened, but you can visit here to be notified when it goes live. If the service fee is in any way similar to the normal Loot Crate subscription fees, this will likely be the best way to collect a bunch of amiibo at a deep discount.

The first 12 amiibo will launch on November 21 alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
