The Far Cry series will be gettings its fourth iteration come November 18, later this month. We're only a short week away from Far Cry 4's release, and fans are clamoring to get their hands on the game. However, PCGamer revealed that some fans have been looking backwards. Specifically, these people are looking at the expansion for Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon. The game featured an entirely different array of graphics and music, creating an atmosphere that would remind many of Tron or something.
Speaking on the IGN Pubcast Happy Hour podcast, Creative Director at Ubisoft Montreal had this to say on the prospect of a Blood Diamond 2:

We're glad that Hutchinson realizes the value of pushing the intellectual property of Far Cry forward. There's a lot of repetitious content released every year for other games, so we'd hate to see Far Cry 4 go that way. If Hutchinson and his team can come up with something that's equally riveting to Bood Dragon for Far Cry 4, that will be where the sweet spot is.
