Bloodborne Messenger Skins Preorder Bonus Now Available For Retail Version Via Gamestop

November 6, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

If you wanted the skins but hesitated to get a digital copy, you now have the choice to get it with a disc copy.

Gamestop has a preorder bonus for fans who buy Bloodborne through their site that may convince you to get it there, if you like physical.

Last September, Sony revealed a preorder bonus on the PlayStation Store if you purchased the game  through them. An exclusive Messenger skin will be available for fans through this digital only version of the game.

Now, however, Gamestop has revealed they have the exact same Messenger skin available as a preorder bonus. Unlike the PlayStation Store version, you can get the bonus along with a physical copy of the game, via the retailer.

Gamestop promises that online customers will get the code emailed to them 2 working days after shipping their order, while customers who pick the game up in store will get the code printed on their receipt.

The skin has no effect on gameplay, and is not even a custom option for your playable character. If you did want to have the option, and were reticent to get the copy digitally, you can now choose to get it with a disc copy of the game, at no extra charge.

Bloodborne will be released on February 6, 2015 on PlayStation 4.
