Mario Kart 8: First DLC Pack Arrives November 13

November 5, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Check out footage of the F-Zero and Zelda tracks, plus amiibo costumes.

We have an official date for the first Mario Kart 8 DLC pack: November 13. In the trailer that aired during the Nintendo Direct, we got to see the first footage of Mute City from F-Zero and Hyrule Circuit from Zelda. We also got to see the remaining new courses: SNES Rainbow Road, a Chinese-themed track called Dragon Driftway, and an icy zone called Ice Ice Outpost. You can check them all in greater detail in this Nintendo Minute video.

We also got to see amiibo compatibility in action. Yesterday, we learned that amiibo will be used to dress up Mii racers as your favorite Nintendo characters. Check the trailer below to see exactly how it all works.
