Evolve’s Big Alpha is now live on PlayStation 4. The Alpha was originally delayed due to issues with the system’s recent firmware update.

To commemorate the occasion, Turtle Rock Studios has extended alpha for everyone playing on all platforms. You can play the alpha until November 4, 12 PM Pacific, or 8 PM UTC.
Turtle Rock has been investigating matchmaking and lobby issues with the PlayStation 4 version, similar to what the PC version had when its alpha launched. If you want to play this alpha on PlayStation 4, Turtle Rock recommends you queue solo, with no role preference.
Turtle Rock may need to extend the alpha even further, at least for the PlayStation 4 version, so that they can have proper stress tests for that platform. Perhaps it would be better if they extended the alpha even further than necessary for PlayStation 4 fans, so that they don’t feel left out.
Evolve will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 10, 2015.
