Driveclub Delayed On PS Plus As Shuhei Apologizes To Fans

October 31, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

SCE President of Worldwide Studios assures they are aware of how fans are disappointed.

SCE President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida has formally apologized for Driveclub, as he announces the delay for the PlayStation Plus version.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Shuhei assures fans he is aware that Evolution Studios and Sony have let them down, and is sorry they were not able to deliver on what they hoped they would with the game. Shuhei also explains that Evolution is working around the clock to close the gap in terms of performance, but it will still take some time for them to do so.

Regarding the delay, Shuhei explains that delivering the best experience to PlayStation Plus subscribers is the priority, so they intend to bring the game up to expectations before they add it to the service. For this reason, the PS Plus version of the game has been postponed until further notice.

Are you a PlayStation 4 owner who intended to get Driveclub via PS Plus? Will you still wait for the game via your subscription, or are you willing to set aside the game’s issues and get it now? What would you like Evolution and Sony to do to appease fans? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
