The opening to Assassin's Creed Unity has been leaked.
As you can see in the preview, you get to play Arno as a child. Instead of just having a series of cut scenes, you can clearly go around the room to walk in and out of certain conversations, and it does not seem like you have to stick around for them. You do, however, trigger certain cutscenes by going through certain entrances
It is possible that you will be able to do an investigation this early into the game. It may also be the case that like the openings to Mega Man X or Super Mario 64, this opening is designed to both immerse you into the world and atmosphere of Unity, and to get you acquainted with its controls.
Assassin's Creed Unity will be released on November 11 on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
