Evolve Big Alpha System Requirements, Registration Process Revealed

October 28, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Find out what you need to have and to do to get into the Big Alpha this weekend.

Turtle Rock has revealed the minimum and recommended requirements for the Evolve Big Alpha.

They have also made it clear that these are not the final specs for the game. In fact, they have specific instructions for players who are at the extreme ends of high end and lower end PCs. If your PC is on the lower end, they recommend settings be deliberately lowered, and anti aliasing turned off. If you do have a high end PC, it will be better for Turtle Rock if you use the Ultra settings and then scale back those settings as needed.

Turtle Rock has also unveiled a new collaboration, with VOIP provider Curse Voice. Curse will be providing voice chat services during the alpha. Subsequently, applying for the alpha now requires you get the Curse Voice beta.

Here’s how this works:

·         You download the Curse Voice beta here.

·         Install and run Curse Voice.

·         Click the Evolve Big Alpha button from Curse Voice to get a registration code.

·         Input the registration code in the Evolve Big Alpha page here.

·         Fill out the form completely. Remember to use the referral code Curse4v1 and a valid email address.

·         Finally, get the product key to download Evolve from a response email from 2K and Turtle Rock.

You can learn more about the Evolve Big Alpha here. Evolve will be released on February 10, 2015 on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
