Majestic Nights, Isometric Action Adventure, Coming To Steam

October 24, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Watch this video walkthrough to get a grasp of how its stealth, combat, and adventure mechanics come together.

Epiphany Games has revealed an upcoming action adventure you will be able to play in Steam very soon. Introducing Majestic Nights.

Majestic Nights is primarily an isometric adventure game, where you can talk to other characters and interact with items to investigate some deep conspiracies. Each conversation tree and decision leads to different outcomes, just like in many adventure games. On top of this, you have real time stealth, and shooting combat mechanics to jump directly into the action.

The game is set in an insane conspiracy theory laden 1980s, where every conspiracy under the sun is true, and the US government has dipped their hands in everything.

There are two playable characters: Cardholder, a shady intelligence operative, and Callie, a simple private investigator.

Majestic Nights promises a mix of stealth, action, and investigative gameplay, which can be an intriguing  mix if done right. The game is going for an episodic structure, with a free ‘Chapter Zero’ prologue coming up soon, and Chapters 1 to 6 to be made available this October 30 on Steam as one bundle.

I must admit, I have some concerns with an isometric game with shooter mechanics, particularly with blind spots, but this game seems to have that under control. Check out the video walkthrough to explain the game in better detail, and bookmark its Steam page here.
