Mario Kart 8: Check Out Link’s Sweet New Motorcyle

October 16, 2014 by Tony Ponce

The Master Cycle is one of the new rides in the first Mario Kart 8 DLC pack.

One of the new characters who will be added in the first major piece of Mario Kart 8 DLC is Link from The Legend of Zelda. He won't be coming alone, as he's bringing Epona along with him… err… sort of. He's storming in on a new motorcycle called the Master Cycle, which is decorated with the Hylian Shield and sports a horse-shaped head.

The Master Cycle joins F-Zero's Blue Falcon and Mario Kart DS' B Dasher as three of the four new rides in the upcoming update. Don't forget that we'll also be getting Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach as new drivers, as well as eight new tracks.

The first Mario Kart 8 add-on arrives in November, while the second featuring Animal Crossing's Villager and Isabelle arrives in May. Buy them at $7.99 each or pre-order a bundle for $11.99. And speaking of Villager and Isabelle, check out the new art of the duo below.
