Smash director Masahiro Sakurai posted the above image on the Smash Miiverse page. As you can clearly tell, it's a screen from the Wii U version of the game; more specifically, it's the first reveal of two Wii U-exclusive game modes. These single-player modes have a portion of their name blurred out, but we can easily make out "Master" and "Crazy." Does that sound familiar to anyone else, aside from the connections to Smash bosses Master Hand and Crazy Hand?
Remember how some fans recently discovered a wealth of unused announcer voice clips in the 3DS version? And remember how we speculated that those clips may have something to do with the features and modes exclusive to Wii U? If you go down that list again, you'll notice two entries for "Master Orders" and "Crazy Orders" — seems like "Orders" could be the censored word from today's screenshot. This effectively confirms that at least some of the announcer clips are indeed representative of Wii U modes! Now I'm getting excited for that "8-Player Smash" confirmation!
Additionally, the Smash website has been updated with just a few of the game's locked fighters. The chaare obscured until you directly visit their individual pages, so players who don't want to be spoiled can easily avoid them. However, I doubt there's anyone who hasn't already been spoiled.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U releases on November 21.
