Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Disabling Splash Screen and Startup Movies Guide

October 14, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Skip those annoying splash screens and startup movies with this simple guide.

Are you tired of having to deal with the splash screen and startup movies each and every time you launch Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel? Then read on, as this simple guide will allow you to skip these annoying intermissions that slow you from getting right into the thick of the action.

Keep in mind that this guide only works for the PC version of the game.

So here’s what you do:

1. Right-click Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel in your Steam library.

2. Click on “Properties”.

3. Click the “Set Launch Options” button.

4. Enter the following line into the field and click the OK button:
-NoLauncher -NoStartupMovies

5. And you’re done!

To re-enable the game’s launcher and its startup movies, simply delete that line.

Don't forget to check out our guide on how to duplicate guns in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
