Remember how we learned recently that Kevin Smith would be a playable character in the upcoming LEGO Batman 3? Remember how absolutely ridiculous that news was? What if I were to tell you that it only gets crazier from there? What if I were to tell you that late night talk show host Conan O'Brien is getting in on the action as well?
In the trailer above, ol' Coco and his mile-high hair share the superhero spotlight with the rest of the league. His appearance here is most likely due to his video series Clueless Gamer, in which he and Conan senior digital producer Aaron Bleyaert play a variety of popular games — Aaron is the seasoned vet, while Conan is the… well… look at the show's title. Less strange is the inclusion of a version of the Green Arrow based on the current CW television show Arrow as another playable character. Actor Stephen Amell will of course voice his LEGO counterpart much like how he voiced Arrow in Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Other playable characters include Green Lantern Batman, Solar Suit Superman, Man-Bat, Condiment King, and DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee. But the best of all the newcomers is Duck Dudgers — more specifically, it's Green Loontern from the episode of 2003's Duck Dodgers series in which Dodgers obtains Hal Jordan's ring after accidentally getting their garments mixed up at the dry cleaners. He is obviously the best Green Lantern.
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham arrives on November 11 for Windows, Mac, Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
