The Evil Within’s Launch Trailer Has Been Released, And It Is Brutal

October 14, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Tango finally gives us a good idea of how the game’s mature content is going to escalate.

Tango and Bethesda have shared the official launch trailer for The Evil Within, and they are not holding back anymore.

The trailer comes with several blurbs, and while the game has not quite received universal acclaim, it has pleased many critics, with Game Informer calling it the proper Resident Evil 4 follow up fans have been clamoring for.

There is no voiceover narrative in the trailer, but as you may already know, Shinji Mikami knows how to tell a scary story with atmosphere alone.

This trailer also finally gives fans a proper idea of how the graphic violence is going to escalate in the game. A word of warning before clicking that link; this trailer is definitely for mature audiences only.

You can check out our tweaks and cheats guide for the game here.

The Evil Within will be released on October 14 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows.
