Even though Tetris Ultimate, the latest major installment in the long-running puzzle series, was announced for 3DS so time after it was announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the handheld version will be the one hitting shelves first. The 3DS build will be available both digitally and at retail starting November 11. In an uncommon twist, the digital and physical versions will be priced differently — $19.99 via eShop, $29.99 in stores.
Tetris Ultimate was originally scheduled to arrive in summer on consoles and PC, but it seems like those versions have been pushed back until some time in the winter. A version for PS Vita was also revealed during the interim, to be released alongside the others. Only the Vita version will come in digital and retail flavors like the 3DS build, while the rest will be digital only.
Tetris Ultimate hits 3DS on November 11.
